Villa Strengthening Project
Description
In our project, it was decided to make a strengthening project upon the application of the owner of the building, which saw cracks in the columns in the basement of his house. As a result, cores were taken from the basement of the house and the columns selected from the remaining floors. Stripping was applied to a selected column in the basement and reinforcement was determined. The concrete class was determined by breaking the core samples in the laboratory. Along with these operations, the seismic laying method was used to determine the ground class. After that, the existing modeling was done and then the strengthening project was carried out.
