Description

The New International Airport was built in Ashgabat, the capital city of Turkmenistan with a 14 mil. passenger/year capacity. The project isconsisted of 165.851 500 m2 Termial Building, 50 room capacity Hotel Building 8500 m2VIP Terminal Building and 3000 car capacity Carpark Building.The Main Terminal Building has a traditional bird shape and these sculptural shape transformed into a real project after challenging design studies.Similar to Main Terminal Building, VIP Terminal Building has a bird shape with a smaller scale.

Intac was consultant for the design works ofthe whole project. Additionally, INTAC served as the maindesigner for facade system of the Main Terminal Building. sides of the tunnel. This phenomena requires higher architectural skills to create a design that is compatible with surroundings.
